Some articles on: the Bill for amendment of the Law for Energy from Renewable Sources and the ordinance on certificates of origin for green electricity

At its session on 11.01.2012 the parliamentary committee on economy, energy and tourism approved at first reading the changes in the Law for energy from renewable sources. Representatives of the Bulgarian Wind Energy Association (BGWEA) participated in the session.

In relation to the new changes of the RES law, BGWEA distributed the following materials among members of parliament and the media (in Bulgarian):

BGWEA and Varna Towers mall gladly invite you to the exhibition "Powered by Nature: Wind Energy Today"

The photos and graphs of the exhibition will introduce you to the technology of wind turbines, the myths and facts about wind energy, as well as the fun facts about this source of clean energy.

The exhibition will be on display from January 16 till the end of February, 2012 every day during the open hours of the mall on the second level of the building on 256 Vladislav Varnenchik Blvd, Varna.

BGWEA presented its photo exhibition "Powered by Nature: The Wind Energy Industry Today" at the centre for culture and debate The Red House in Sofia. The exhibition was on display from 6 - 22 December, 2011. The exhibition was accompanied by a debate on the topic: "Renewable Energy Sources - Opportunities and Constraints". The debate was organized by BGWEA with the participation of the Students’ Club of Political Science at Sofia University.

On November 3 a workshop took place, organized by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), the Bulgarian Wind Energy Association (BGWEA) and the Bulgarian Association of Producers of Ecological Energy (APEE), on the topic: "Wind energy in Bulgaria: from impasse to opportunity".
